Forestport Reservoir is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Kayuta Lake Campground is a pleasant spot to camp nearby. For the duration of the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Forestport Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Forestport Reservoir. Whohoo, so many       cool things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is excellent! If the weather is glorious here at Forestport Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Forty Mountain Trail; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Black River. This lake is so wonderful. The Party Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Forestport Reservoir; everyone nearby loves skiing at Woods Valley. If you're visiting Forestport Reservoir from Utica-Rome, you won't be the only one,                  and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Utica is a great choice. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Some close by water includes Alder Creek, and since you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Alder Creek Golf Course & Country Inn.
