What would winter be without some skiing at Holiday Mountain, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Monticello is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Forestburg Pond called the Schiff Trail. Throughout the summertime highs here at Forestburg Pond reach the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Forestburg Pond

| | temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Delaware River, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Peenpack Trail. Black Brook is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at. Econo Lodge Monticello is a glorious place to get some rest; if you come at the right time of year, Mongaup River offers some perfect whitewater. Camping at Kittatinny
Campgrounds is always a nice experience, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Trout Pond. You simply must go for Forestburg Pond. The Lost Cabin Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Forestburg Pond, and if you came to camp Swinging Bridge Lake Campgrounds is a nice spot to do that.
