Going for a hike along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; Moodna Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. From Forest Road Lake you acquire a pleasant view of Adria Hill; Monroe Country Club is a magnificent golf course nearby. Forest Road Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls through May, and February is the month with the least moisture. Mt. Peter is a great local ski area.

Forest Road Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Robert Moses is a great spot to camp nearby, and a glorious nearby hotel is Hampton Inn Harriman Woodbury. So much exciting stuff in the vicinity of Forest Road Lake, just remarkable. If the weather is pleasant here at Forest Road Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. Lake. While you're here at Forest Road Lake you can take a hike along the Torne Mount Ivy Trail, and Americas Best Value Inn/Central Valley is a magnificent place to get some rest. The skiing at Sterling Forest is great; you can
stay the night at Camp wabenaki. Throughout the months of summer at Forest Road Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Throughout the winter the
highs are ordinarily in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Forest Road Lake. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River, and not far from Forest Road Lake you'll discover Coronet Lake which is a wonderful lake.
