A visit to Forest Lake is always a good idea. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If the weather is fine here at Forest Lake, you can go for a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail; skiing at West Mountain is one of those things you just must do. If you need a place to stay Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a perfect choice, and the Long Swing Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby.
Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Forest Lake rocks!

| | While you're here at Forest Lake, you could also go to gorgeous Kellum Pond; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Gore Mountain since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Chase Mountain is easily seen from Forest Lake, and Mud Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Dry warm beds await you at Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel.

is not far at all from Glens Falls, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Green Mansion Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. On a nice day at Forest Lake you can take a hike along the Pharoah Mountain
Trail. There's so much to do here at Forest Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Forest Lake Camp is a great place for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Get dripping wet paddling
on Schroon River, and if you came to camp Lake George/Schroon valley Resort is a glorious place to do that.
Summer at Forest Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Through
the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Forest Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Forest Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here; January is the month with the least moisture.
