In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Forest Lake is one of them. Forest Lake gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls during May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Forest Lake is a beautiful lake in the Catskill Mountains. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Catskill Mountains is peerless! If you came for an overnight stay Covered Bridge Campsite is a great location to camp, and splendid skiing awaits

You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Catskill Mountains has to offer. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Willowemoc Campgrounds while you're here at Forest Lake, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Belleayre. So much entertaining stuff to do at Forest Lake, so little time. There's splendid hiking along the Seager West Branch Trail, and a quick spree to Beecher Brook is without doubt | |

Mongaup Mountain is wonderful and can be seen from Forest Lake; if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a great choice. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Forest
Lake reach the 70's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Forest Lake temperatures sink
to the 10's. A pleasant nearby hotel is Days Inn Of Liberty; there are some great whitewater spots on Mill Brook.
