Gotta ski! Holiday Mountain is a delightful location to do that, and getting to Black Brook from Forest Glen Lake is easy. This lake is so wonderful. The Schiff Trail offers hiking at its best. There's good hiking along the Lost Cabin Trail, and Forest Glen Lake is not the only place close by, McAuleys Lake is a close by lake. Throughout the warm days of summer at Forest Glen Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down

| | to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Forest Glen Lake. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Monticello. There's so much to do here at Forest Glen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kittatinny Campgrounds is a good spot for that. Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Monticello is a good location to get some rest; Delaware River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. A normal amount of rain falls here
at Forest Glen Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Forest Glen Lake. Don't leave Forest Glen Lake without first going for a hike along the Peenpack Trail; you can stay the night at Swinging Bridge Lake Campgrounds.
