These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Roaring Branch. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Fly Pond get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Fly Pond are in the 0's. There's       so much to do here at Fly Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sacandaga Campground is a great place for that, and dry warm beds await you at Island View Motel & Cottages. So many enjoyable things near Fly Pond, absolutely astonishing. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Stony Creek; if you need a place to stay Lake Luzerne Motel is a good choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Gotta ski! Hickory                  Ski Center is a glorious place to do that; if you came to camp Fort Bink Campground is a brilliant site to do that. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Swamps like Miner Mill Vly are fun to have a look at, and Clute Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Fly Pond. Fly Pond ordinarily gets a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
