What a nice lake Fly Pond is. Fly Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Fly Pond, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Fly Pond. There are glorious places to discover along the Dividing Ridge Trail.
Get wet paddling on The Branch, and some nearby water includes Andrew Brook. So many entertaining things

| | to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. A gorgeous lake like Sand Pond in the vicinity of Fly Pond is a fine site to explore; after a long day outdoors Blue Ridge Motel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. An average amount of rainfall falls at Fly Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

Hoevenberg Trail, and the skiing at Whiteface Mountain is tremendous. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. If you need a site to stay Chamlar Lodge & Cottages is a great choice, and while here here
do take a look at nearby Jones Beach. All the outdoors fun things right next door to Fly Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Going for a hike on the Elk Lake Marcy Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and whitewater paddling
is good on Boreas River - Upper.
Camping at Fly Pond is good fun, Blue Ridge Falls Campsite is a good local campground, and Wolf Pond Mountain is clearly visible from Fly Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're
in luck; Gore Mountain is near Fly Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a magnificent spot to camp.
