The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Flower, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Flower. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Adirondack Mountains. THE HOTEL SARANAC is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and if you're here you can       take a hike along the Indian Pass Trail. Near Lake Flower you find a golf course called Saranac Lake Golf Club, and McKenzie Brook is near Lake Flower and is always a pleasure to take a look at. A large amount of rainfall falls at Lake Flower; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Baker Mountain is clearly visible                  from Lake Flower. Lakes? Sure, Turtle Pond is close at hand. This site is peerless, just check out all the amusing stuff to do close to Lake Flower. Camping at Donaldson George A and Sons is always a great experience. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cold River, and Whiteface Mountain has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Moody Pond is a delightful lake near Lake Flower; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Schwartz Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent site to camp here at Lake Flower is Pioneer Village; if you need a location to stay Best Western Mountain Lake Inn is a delightful choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. So much fun stuff to do at Lake Flower, so little time. People from Malone love to come to Lake Flower, and if you come at the right time of year, Ausable River - West Branch offers some wonderful whitewater.
