The high level of rainfall makes Lake Florence a quite wet spot; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Good hiking is available along the Schiff Trail, and if you need a place to stay Roscoe Motel is a splendid choice. Get wet paddling on Beaver Kill River. Lakes are pleasant; Anawanda Lake is       a lake that's near Lake Florence, and why not camp at Roscoe Campsites if you're here at Lake Florence. Dry warm beds await you at Hills Country Inn; if you haven’t been to Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River, you must schedule some time for it since you're here. At Lake Florence during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows                  in the 10's overnight here at Lake Florence. What would winter be without some skiing at Holiday Mountain; if you came for an overnight stay Russell Brook Campsite is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful.
