You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the neighborhood of Flemings Pond has to offer. On a good day at Flemings Pond you can take a hike along the Rock Pond Trail, and why not camp at Medcalf Acres Campsite since you're here at Flemings Pond. All year is a brilliant time in the Adirondack Mountains if you go for the outdoors. The vista of Bennett Hill from Flemings Pond is delightful,       and if you've had enough of Flemings Pond, Arnold Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Putnam Creek is a nice whitewater spot right next door to Flemings Pond, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a splendid choice. If the weather is fine here at Flemings Pond, you can go for a hike along the Long Swing Trail; after a long day outdoors Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a brilliant location to spend a night or two.                  Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Flemings Pond is Schroon River, and swamps like Ingalls Marsh are fun to check out.
