This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to visit some exciting stuff, visit Needles Eye, and Bell Brook is next to Fishpole Pond and is always a bliss to take a look at. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Fishpole Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and through       the dark hours in the winter at Fishpole Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Adirondack Mountains. There are swamps here too; Huckleberry Marsh is in close proximity, and Owls Head can be distinguished from Fishpole Pond. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. It's always delightful to go to High Falls, and whitewater paddling is not for                  everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River. Mount Pisgah is a very popular ski area around here; if you came for an overnight stay Legton is a wonderful place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Malone is a good place to get some rest. A large amount of rain falls at Fishpole Pond; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. That right there is heaps of amusing things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Malone is a good choice; the friendly folks of Malone like to hang out nearby.
