hiking trail near Fishhole Pond called the McKenzie Pond Trail; why not camp at Donaldson George A and Sons while you're here at Fishhole Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Saranac River - North Branch close
to Fishhole Pond, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Pisgah if you're here. A large amount of rain falls at Fishhole Pond; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains
the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Near Fishhole Pond you find the Schwartz Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and Woodlake Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest. The Adirondack Mountains scenery
is always beautiful. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Fishhole Pond get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Fishhole Pond.
