The Adirondack Mountains rocks! Cold River is a wonderful whitewater spot near Fish       Creek Ponds, and it's a perfect idea to check out Brandy Brook. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Blue Jay Campsites is a great place to do that, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Malone. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. A fine site for whitewater paddling near Fish Creek Ponds is Meacham Lake Outlet; Fish Creek Ponds is good enough to spend more than a day at, Donaldson George A and Sons is a good local campground.                  Throughout the long summer days highs here at Fish Creek Ponds get into the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Fish Creek Ponds during the wintertime generally descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Point, and since you're here, you could also go to gorgeous Black Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer.
