perhaps interested in lakes, Second Pond is one of those nearby. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. The snow is wonderful at Mount Pisgah; a good site for whitewater paddling is Cold River. This
lake is so wonderful. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Lower Saranac Lake is a lake close at hand; Meacham Lake Outlet is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. If you came to camp Donaldson George A and Sons
is a tremendous place to do that, and for you golfers we recommend close by Saranac Lake Golf Club. A day on the slopes of Whiteface Mountain is just what you need, and First Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer
Village is a fine local campground. So much exciting stuff to do here at First Pond, too fine to be true. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. The summit of Ampersand Mountain can be distinguished from First Pond, and after a long day outdoors Woodlake Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two.
