If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out First Pond. Kelly Bay is rather next to First Pond, and glorious skiing awaits you at Whiteface Mountain. All year is a good time in the Adirondack Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. One of the governing features of the surroundings of First Pond is Ampersand Mountain; an afternoon playing golf at Saranac Lake Golf Club is always a diversion. So many amusing things to do

at First Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Having a splendid time at First Pond is easy. Gauthier's Saranac Lake Motor is a fine place to get some rest, and getting to Cold Brook from First Pond is trouble-free.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at First Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Donaldson George A and Sons is a brilliant place for that, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go
whitewater paddling on Meacham Lake Outlet.
This lake is so wonderful. Cold River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of First Pond, and there's delightful hiking along the McKenzie Pond Trail. First Pond is located
in the Adirondack Mountains. The annual rainfall here at First Pond is about average; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
If you came to camp Pioneer Village is a magnificent
place to do that. A tremendous nearby hotel is Ampersand Bay Boat Club, and the Indian Pass Trail offers hiking at its best.
