The beauty of First Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Hidden Valley Lake; at First Lake you can catch a glimpse of Fly Mountain. At First Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at First Lake are in the 0's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just

| | come on up to the Catskill Mountains. The slopes of Hunter Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist; if you came for an overnight stay Ulster County Four-h Camp is a pleasant site to camp.

proximity, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Kanape Jeep Trail.
Near First Lake you hit upon the Phoenicia Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and there's whitewater on Saw Kill River for all you adrenaline
kick people. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Catskill Mountains. For you golfers we recommend close by Wiltwyck Country Club; First Lake is a place with many visitors from Kingston. Lots of
precipitation falls at First Lake; most of the rain falls during November, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Outdoor Inns is a great choice; on a great day you can take a hike along the Willow Trail. The Catskill Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
