So much amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. McCauley Mountain is a delightful local ski area. You'll need more than a day to explore everything First Lake has to offer, you can camp at Singing waters Campground. Through the long summer days highs here at First Lake get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows at       First Lake through the winter usually fall into the 0's. There's so much to do here at First Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cape Woods Campground is a tremendous place for that, and do take a hike on the Stone Dam Trail. First Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. First Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest                  month is February. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do right next door to First Lake. If you need a spot to stay Forge Motel is a perfect choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Twin Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at First Lake you ought to check out Deer Bay, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Forty Mountain Trail. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Here at First Lake you can distinguish Golden Stair Mountain; paddling on Moose River - South Branch is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to First Lake? Bisby Lakes is close by; if you're interested in cool geologic highlights try Bisby Lodge.
