Finches Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. During the warm months here at Finches Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Finches Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Having a glorious time in the Adirondack Mountains is easy.

| | After a long day outdoors Budget Inn Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Finches Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Trails End is a great spot for that.
You're almost certainly into lakes, Lake Gay is one of those close by, and Americas Best Inns-Herkimer is a good place to get some rest. McCauley Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand, and if the weather is lovely, you obtain a pleasant panorama | |

of Party Hill from Finches Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are perfect; Lake Margarite is a lake that's right next door to Finches Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Twin Lakes Trail.
This lake is so wonderful.
Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Black River. Finches Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Finches Pond; Forty Mountain Trail is a good local
trail, and there's some flowing water close by, Concklin Brook is a stream you can check out while here. Finches Pond is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of
the year is February.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Finches Pond has to offer, you can camp at Adirondack Gateway Campground, and great hiking is available along the Party Trail.
