Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on West Canada Creek, and Bullhead Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Do have a look at Finches Pond close to Figert Lake, it's a pretty lake, and whitewater paddling is great on Black River. Stay the night at Adirondack       Gateway Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Party Trail. Figert Lake gets a lot of water; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Figert Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Figert Lake. You definitely must fancy Figert                  Lake. Hiking along the Twin Lakes Trail is perfect fun, and what would winter be without some skiing at McCauley Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is excellent! There's so much to do here at Figert Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trails End is a good place for that, and Americas Best Inns-Herkimer is a splendid site to get some rest. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful.
