Why not stop by Fifth Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Kingston,Ny, and if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Wiltwyck Country Club. A great deal of rainfall falls at Fifth Lake; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. Throughout the long summer days at Fifth Lake highs are regularly in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to

| | the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Fifth Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Rondout Creek, and camping is available at Hidden Valley Lake. There are wonderful locations to discover along the Willow Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Huntington is a perfect location to camp. So much entertaining stuff near Fifth Lake, truly incredible. | |

A quick spree to Coxing Kill in the vicinity of Fifth Lake is a great idea, and going for a hike on the Kanape Jeep Trail is always a perfect adventure. Fourth Lake is a tremendous lake near Fifth Lake. After a long day outdoors
Super 8 Motel - Kingston is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; don't leave Fifth Lake without first going for a hike along the Phoenicia Trail. There's whitewater on Saw Kill River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; everyone
close by loves skiing at Hunter Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Fifth Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Kingston, and a gorgeous lake like Binnewater Lakes is a great spot to check out.
