    A visit to Fifth Creek Pond is always a good idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. So much entertaining stuff to do at Fifth Creek Pond, so little time. Fifth Creek Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Moose River Camp Grounds is a delightful local campground, and great hiking is available along the Post Henderson Trail. If you came to camp Singing waters Campground is a magnificent place to do that,  
   and why not a little side tour to Hitchcock Creek.
Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. The skiing at Snow Ridge is good; Stillwater Motel is a pleasant location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of McCauley Mountain is just what you need; after a long day outdoors Country Club Motel is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes Fifth Creek Pond a wet site; the
 
               month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
You're almost certainly interested in lakes, Blue Pond is one of those close by, and you can go for a hike on the Norridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. All through the days of summer here at Fifth Creek Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 20's; nighttime lows throughout the winter for Fifth Creek Pond tend to be in the 0's.
And if that's not sufficient there's a load more entertaining things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Beaver River is a splendid whitewater spot near Fifth Creek Pond; there are nice places to discover along the Salmon Lake Trail.
