Don't leave Fiero Pond without first going for a hike along the Peenpack Trail. Through the summertime highs here at Fiero Pond reach the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's while Fiero Pond overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime       are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Holiday Mountain; you'll find a delightful lake called Lake Altamont. There are glorious sites to explore along the Comfort Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Wurtsboro. This lake is so wonderful. Mt. Peter is a great local ski area, and Wallkill Golf Club is a golf course close by. Camping is available at Berentsen's Campgrounds; there's great hiking along the Vernooy                  Falls Trail. Some nearby water includes Little Shawangunk Kill, and if you need a place to stay VALLEY BROOK INN AND COTTAGES is a glorious choice. Fiero Pond is a quite wet place ordinarily with a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot.
