This lake is so wonderful. Berentsen's Campgrounds is a nice campground nearby, and Mt. Peter has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. Visit Little Shawangunk Kill while you're here at Fiero Pond, and there's nice hiking along the Peenpack Trail. Fiero Pond sees pretty high levels of rain;
throughout May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Wallkill Golf Club is a great way to kill some time, needless to say you could also check
out Monhagen Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
Dry warm beds await you at VALLEY BROOK INN AND COTTAGES, and if you came for an overnight stay Rainbow Valley Campground is a fine place to camp.
