If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Fiero Pond. A good nearby hotel is Wurtsboro - Days Inn. There's so much to do here at Fiero Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Korn's Shawangunk is a glorious place for that. Little Shawangunk Kill is a magnificent local stream; if you need a spot to stay Days Inn is a delightful choice. The snow is great at Holiday Mountain, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called

All through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Fiero Pond. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Fiero Pond temperatures fall to the 10's. Just can't get enough of Fiero Pond. Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Head up to Mt. Peter and strap some skis to your feet, and if you've had enough of Fiero Pond, Lake Altamont is nearby.
Fiero Pond is a quite wet place mostly with a lot of rain; of all the
months in a year May is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Vernooy Falls Trail is always a tremendous adventure. You'll need more than a day to look
at everything Fiero Pond has to offer, you can camp at Rainbow Valley Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Fiero Pond and you like golf, you can take a look at Wallkill Golf Club, and you can run the rapids of Sandburg Creek.
