Lakes are such calm spots, why not take a look at Lake Marie next to Fieldston Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Swan Lake Golf & Country Club is always a delight. Summertime highs at Fieldston Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows       at Fieldston Lake through the wintertime regularly dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Fieldston Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Swan Lake Camplands is a splendid site for that, and the Schiff Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. If you come at the right time of year, Neversink River offers some good whitewater; going for a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail is always a perfect adventure. Now, you may assume                  that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Fieldston Lake. The skiing at Holiday Mountain is good, and close by you come across the Peenpack Trail which is a good hiking trail. The panorama of stunning Chuck Hill near Fieldston Lake is magnificent, and Fieldston Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Shomria is a pleasant local campground. Fieldston Lake gets much water; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
