Near Fieldston Lake you come across a golf course called Swan Lake Golf & Country Club, and there's whitewater on Beaver Kill River for all you adrenaline junkies. At Fieldston Lake you can catch a glimpse of Chuck Hill, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Peenpack Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Lake Barnabee if you're here at Fieldston Lake; it's close by, and going for a hike along       the Schiff Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. But wait, there's more to do near Fieldston Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Neversink River; after a long day outdoors Liberty Motel is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Fieldston Lake gets a large amount of water; most of the rain falls through May, and February is when it's the driest. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Holiday                  Mountain, and Fieldston Lake is a nice spot to camp, Swan Lake Camplands is a nice spot. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Fieldston Lake you can take a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. At Fieldston Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Fieldston Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
