When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Ferris Lake fall into the 0's. Ferris Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy       all the amusing things at Ferris Lake. Black Cat Outlet is right next door to Ferris Lake and is always a diversion to have a look at; East Canada Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the California Trail is good fun, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Mountain Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Crystal Grove Diamond Mine is                  a pleasant local campground; a good panorama of striking West Notch Mountain is available. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All the outdoors cool things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Palatine Bridge. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a good spot to camp; whitewater paddling is delightful on Piseco Outlet. This is a magnificent area for people who like lakes.
