This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lackawaxen River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Feagles Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lander's River Trips. Darbytown Falls is a charming location to stop by while you're at Feagles Lake, and the Schiff

Trail offers hiking at its best. After a long day outdoors Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Crawford Trail.
No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Feagles Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Barkley Lake is near Feagles Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Feagles Lake. Peggy Run is a pleasant local stream, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Steam Mill Trail. At Feagles Lake you can make out Deep Hollow Hill. There's so much to do here at Feagles Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trail's End Camp is a good place for that.

Raft??? First off, I cant see raft going through box canyon. It might be possible, but I wouldn't want to see someone I care about be the first. After the box, downstream of the route 6 bridge, you would need a lot of rain, I mean an awful lot of rain to get through the flat water section. Personally, I do some tough runs (CL4+) and I'm not sure I'd wanna be there with that much water. With plenty of water, medium level, we were scraping a lot in the flat water section. Also, in the canyon, if someone gets hurt, they are in for a bad day. This is evident by looking at a typo map or looking down from route three bridge. ''outside the state you might find the rivers here are more forgiving''. My travel for White Water is limited: NY, NJ, MA, CT, WV, MD, VT, NC. Never been out west. With my limited experience the above states and PA and 5 years kayaking including winter, I have no clue what the above quote means. Ratings CL1-5 (6 being a rating meaning it might not be runable), while far from perfect is a pretty good indication of water difficulty. Don't paddle here unless you know wha...
