Faxons Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Country Haven Campground while you're here at Faxons Pond, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Alligator Pond. | | wonderful local ski area; going for a hike along the Pharoah Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Schroon River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Long Swing Trail.
