And that's not everything there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. North Branch flows through this vicinity; you can hit the slopes at McCauley Mountain nearby. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Falls Lake. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Falls Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.       This lake is so wonderful. This is a brilliant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Mud Pond is a lake close at hand, and why not camp at OLD Forge Camping Resort while you're here at Falls Lake. So many amusing things to do here at Falls Lake, too glorious to be true. Get soaked paddling on Oswegatchie River - East Branch, and going for a hike along the Salmon Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. While you're here at Falls Lake                  you will meet lots of people from close by Ogdensburg-Massena; if you're here you can take a hike along the Big Deer Pond Trail. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Falls Lake mostly gets a large amount of precipitation; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Oswegatchie River - East Branch, and if you came for an overnight stay Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a pleasant location to camp.
