Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Paddling on Oswegatchie River - East Branch is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Clark's Beach Motel. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at McCauley Mountain; Stillwater Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Evergreen Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. And if that's not sufficient there's       heaps more fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Lakes are such calm spots, why not stop by Diana Pond in the neighborhood of Evergreen Lake, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Norridge Trail. Through the warm months at Evergreen Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Evergreen                  Lake drop into the 0's. Evergreen Lake gets lots of water; August is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Evergreen Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cape Woods Campground; Beaver River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Evergreen Lake is a good site to camp, Singing waters Campground is a good site, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Salmon Lake Trail.
