In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Evans Pond is one of them. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do next to Evans Pond. Lots of folks from Utica-Rome come to Evans Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to explore along the Stone Dam Trail; an afternoon playing golf at Alder Creek Golf Course & Country Inn is always a delight. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Black

A large amount of precipitation falls at Evans Pond; through September this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Ninety Five Hill is pretty. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out close by Beaver Meadow Brook since you're here at Evans Pond, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Utica is a tremendous place to spend a night
or two. Summertime highs at Evans Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight
here at Evans Pond. Don't leave Evans Pond without first going for a hike along the Forty Mountain Trail, and you're perhaps into lakes, Lake Julia is one of those close by. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Evans
Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Trail's End Campground is a great local campground, and Tamarack Swamp is an interesting swamp close to Evans Pond. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Adirondack
Mountains is peerless! If you need a site to stay Red Roof Inn Utica is a glorious choice; if you came to camp Kayuta Lake Campground is a pleasant place to do that. Skiing at Woods Valley is one of those things you just should do, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Black River.
