Esopus Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Valley Lake is a tremendous local campground, and whitewater paddling is fine on Saw Kill River. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do close to Esopus Lake. A brilliant nearby hotel is Holiday Inn KINGSTON, and the panorama of Hussey Hill is beautiful. This lake is       so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Kingston here. Summertime highs at Esopus Lake generally tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Esopus Lake. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Kingston is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Mirror Lake is one of those nearby. This lake                  is so wonderful. A splendid site to camp here at Esopus Lake is Ulster County Four-h Camp. Lakes are great; Louisa Pond is a lake that's near Esopus Lake. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Wiltwyck Country Club, and Middle Hudson River is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at.
