This site, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Eskar Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. A day on the slopes of McCauley Mountain is just what you need, and       there's good hiking along the The Loop. A lake close by is Heath Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Oswegatchie River - East Branch.
