Many people like to go to Elm Pond. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. On a gorgeous day you obtain a view of Catamount from Elm Pond, and at Elm Pond you always meet someone from Malone. If you get bored of Elm Pond, you could also visit close by Catamount Pond; Pioneer Village is a splendid campground here.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Silver Lake Mountain Trail is always a brilliant adventure; float down the rapids

| | of Salmon River in a kayak. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Near Elm Pond you stumble on the Schwartz Trail which is a good hiking trail; get soaked paddling on Saranac River - North Branch. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. There is a nice hiking trail close to Elm Pond called the McKenzie Pond Trail, and camping at Elm Pond is perfect fun, Donaldson George A and Sons is a perfect local | |

This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay THE HOTEL SARANAC is a great choice; Titus Mountain is a delightful local ski area. All the water falling down from the sky makes Elm Pond a wet place; August
is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Elbow Brook, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Pisgah is quite near.
Throughout
the months of summer highs here at Elm Pond get into the 70's, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Elm Pond. This
spot, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Hotel Saranac is a nice location to get some rest, and close by you find Horse Head Point. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Elm Pond.
