Be careful coming to Elm Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sacandaga River; time spent at Moffit Beach is always nice. This lake is so wonderful. Taking a little spree to close by Duck Bay is a great idea, and camping is available at Ranch Side Park. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. | |

A short trip to The Rifts is always worthwhile; going for a hike on the Sucker Brook Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
There's some flowing water nearby, Kunjamuk River is a stream you can stop by while here. Lakes are perfect;
Echo Lake is a lake that's next to Elm Lake. Lots of folks from Gloversville come to Elm Lake, and obviously, this is a magnificent neighborhood for people who like lakes, Whitaker Lake is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so
wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Rainbows End is a pleasant place to camp; glide down the rapids of Sacandaga River - Middle Branch in a kayak.
The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. An average amount
of rain falls at Elm Lake; through August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. At Elm Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Elm Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
