If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Ellis Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best, and after a long day outdoors The Cottages At Kent Road is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. From Ellis Pond you get a nice sight of Church Hill, and Thunder Ridge has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Deuel Hollow Brook flows through this area.

get into the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Ellis Pond temperatures drop to the 10's.
