Take a hike on the Southeast Hollow Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Jericho Valley Inn. There's so much to do here at Lake Elizabeth that you need to camp here for a while, Broken Wheel Campground is a pleasant       spot for that; hiking along the Taconic Crest Trail is wonderful fun. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Willard Mountain if you're here. Very wonderful scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Jiminy Peak; going for a hike along the Williams Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Elizabeth. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. For the                  period of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Elizabeth. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Mill Pond; in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Poesten Kill River. A great place for whitewater paddling near Lake Elizabeth is Hoosic River, and if you came to camp Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds is a great site to do that.
