This is a pleasant area for folks who like lakes. Lake Alice is a lake in close proximity; do take a hike on the Stillwell Lake Trail. Camping at Lake Elizabeth is glorious fun, Sebago Cabins Harriman is a glorious local campground, and Lake Elizabeth is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. So many fun things next to Lake Elizabeth, just fantastic. Summer brings       highs in the 70's to Lake Elizabeth, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Elizabeth fall into the 10's. Having a perfect time at Lake Elizabeth is uncomplicated. A splendid place near Lake Elizabeth is South Mountain Pass, and if you came for an overnight stay Beaver Pond is a pleasant location to camp.                  Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Popolopen Creek, and hiking along the Woodtown Trail is perfect fun. Getting to Arden Brook from Lake Elizabeth is easy, and at Lake Elizabeth you can observe Canada Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Sterling Forest is a great local ski area; while you're here you can play some golf at The Garrison Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Moodna Creek; The Thayer Hotel is a splendid location to get some rest. A good deal of rainfall falls at Lake Elizabeth; most of the rain falls during May while February is commonly the driest month.
