Beautiful Elbow Ponds has much to offer visitors. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do next to Elbow Ponds. Taking a little journey to nearby Horse Head Point is a nice idea; Elbow Ponds is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Village is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Titus Mountain, and the peak of Catamount can be distinguished from Elbow Ponds. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place!

| | The Adirondack Mountains is peerless! After a long day outdoors THE HOTEL SARANAC is a great place to spend a night or two, and a quick journey to Elbow Brook is without doubt a good idea. All the water falling down from the sky makes Elbow Ponds a wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. good whitewater spots on Saranac River - North Branch; if you came to camp Donaldson George A and Sons is a perfect place to do that. Bass Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone
but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Pisgah; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Silver Lake Mountain Trail. Now, you may assume that's
heaps but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Hotel Saranac, and hiking along the Schwartz Trail is great fun. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
Throughout the summer months highs here at Elbow Ponds reach the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's while Elbow Ponds night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
