Having a good time in the Adirondack Mountains is uncomplicated. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Elbow Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cape Woods Campground, and good hiking is available along the Big Deer Pond Trail. Elbow Pond is a good site of normal rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. The peak of Summit Mountain can be       spotted from Elbow Pond, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sunset Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Ogdensburg-Massena come to Elbow Pond, and Oswegatchie River - East Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. Elbow Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Don't leave Elbow Pond without first going for a hike along the Norridge Trail, and McCauley Mountain                  has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. Go for a hike on the Salmon Lake Trail, and not far from Elbow Pond you'll find Beaverdam Pond which is a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Elbow Pond. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Elbow Pond. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer.
