Many people like to go to Edgecomb Pond. Edgecomb Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at The Sagamore, and if you come at the right time of year, Schroon River offers some good whitewater. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Wing Pond is a good lake close to Edgecomb Pond, and nice hiking is available along the Pharoah Mountain Trail.

| | the tremendous skiing at Gore Mountain; Scenic View Campground is a pleasant local campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Edgecomb Pond, and the overnight is quite colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Edgecomb Pond are in the 0's. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Edgecomb Pond. Falls, and if you need a place to stay The Sagamore is a fine choice.
But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Go for a hike on the Spectacle Pond Trail, and Lake George/Schroon valley Resort is
a fine campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not explore Sherman Lake in the neighborhood of Edgecomb Pond, and from Edgecomb Pond you acquire a magnificent view of Cat Mountain. There's fine
hiking along the Treadway Mountain Trail; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at West Mountain while you're here.
Edgecomb Pond is a good site of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is January.
