Echo Pond is a nice lake to visit. The annual rainfall here at Echo Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Super 8 Motel - Amsterdam is a pleasant place to get some rest, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Fox Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Cobleskill Reservoir
 | 17 miles away I have been to this reservoir many times and highly recommend it to anyone. It's got good fishing and its a very big area to just go out and relax while trying to catch some dinner. I cant say I've caught many big ones but many many sunfish and smallmouth. I know there are trout in the upper pond and walleye in the pond furthest to the left. Also large and smallmouth bass are in all three. Great place to go.... |
