If you are in Westchester county it's always a good idea to stop by Echo Lake. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a wonderful choice, and this is a popular spot for people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is nice fun, and camping is available at Beaver Pond.

Why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and a nice location to camp here at Echo Lake is Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Echo Lake is right by the Stillwell Lake Trail; you can hit the slopes at Thunder Ridge in the neighborhood.

is a nearby lake. Echo Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is regularly the driest month. Summertime highs at Echo Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's.
During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Echo Lake.
