This lake is so wonderful. The Pharoah Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Echo Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Queen Village Camp Ground is a magnificent local campground, and Big Brook is next to Echo Lake and is always a diversion to have a look at. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Glen-hudson       Campsite is a delightful spot for that; a great view of lovely Hackensack Mountain is available. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Echo Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while Echo Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby West Mountain, and you'll meet a lot of people from Glens Falls here. This                  lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Schroon River in a kayak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Echo Lake; Spectacle Pond Trail is a nice local trail. Echo Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. If you come at the right time of year, Glen Creek offers some splendid whitewater; after a long day outdoors North Country Lodge is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Gore Mountain has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Route 9 Budget Inn.
