This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Echo Lake you can take a hike along the Comfort Trail, and dry warm beds await you at VALLEY BROOK INN AND COTTAGES. You can run the rapids of Beer Kill River - West Branch close to Echo Lake; you can stay the night at Camp Echo. For the duration of the long summer       days at Echo Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Echo Lake. Lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Lake Jerry near Echo Lake; the slopes of Mt. Peter are so inviting nobody can resist. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area near Echo Lake has to offer. There are other places here than Echo                  Lake, for example Beaverman Lake, and after a long day outdoors Nevele Grande Resort is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. The high level of precipitation makes Echo Lake a relatively wet location; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Wallkill Golf Club is a golf course close to Echo Lake, and the Vernooy Falls Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
