A wonderful place to camp here at Echo Lake is Phoenix Naturist Resort; Echo Lake is right by the Williams Trail. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Jiminy Peak is in the neighborhood of Echo Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Value Inn Pownal/Williamstown. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great area       for people who like lakes. Lake Lorraine is a lake close by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hoosic River. From a rain point of view Echo Lake is a relatively typical site; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps keen on lakes, Wing Pond is one of those close by; Hampton Inn Bennington is a pleasant site to get some rest.                  Through the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Echo Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Echo Lake. What a place this is for outdoors people. Camping is available at Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping, and there's good hiking along the Taconic Crest Trail.
