    A visit to Echo Lake is always a good idea. From a rainfall point of view Echo Lake is a quite normal spot; May is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Going for a hike along the Williams Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Hoosic River. For the period of the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Echo Lake; the  
   overnight is somewhat chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Echo Lake.
Take a hike on the Taconic Crest Trail, and if you came to camp Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping is a great site to do that. Echo Lake truly is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. After a long day outdoors Bennington Battlefield Motel is a tremendous location to spend a night
 
               or two, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Batten Kill River. Everybody close by loves skiing at Willard Mountain, and at Echo Lake you can catch a sight of Nipmoose Hill.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Phoenix Naturist Resort is a wonderful location for that; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Southeast Hollow Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Blue Willow Motel, and Lake Lorraine is a nearby lake that you could explore. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Jiminy Peak are so inviting noone can resist.
