In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Echo Lake is one of them. Gotta ski! Woods Valley is a delightful site to do that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River. All through the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Echo Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at Echo Lake during the wintertime mostly sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.

This lake is so wonderful. There are pleasant locations to look at along the Stone Dam Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Cincinnati Creek offers some great whitewater. Trail, and Wingate By Wyndham Rome is a magnificent spot to get some rest.
Echo Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Near Echo Lake
you find a golf course called Woodgate Pines Golf Club, and after a long day outdoors Paul Revere Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two. While you're here at Echo Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Utica-Rome, and
what would winter be without some skiing at Snow Ridge.
A trip to Fort Stanwix National Monument is worthwhile; Kayuta Lake is a nice lake close by. Go for a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail; camping at Pixley Falls State Park is always a splendid experience.
