Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Woods Valley. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stysh's Brown Barn Campgrounds is a magnificent site for that. Cincinnati Creek is a fine whitewater spot right next door to Echo Lake, and Woodgate Pines Golf Club is a golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Stone       Dam Trail; Snow Ridge has great slopes and a friendly staff. Echo Lake gets a typical amount of rain; most of the rain falls throughout November, and the driest of the months is February. The warmest time of the year at Echo Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 20's; nighttime lows at Echo Lake throughout the winter usually plunge into                  the 0's. Here at Echo Lake you'll in all probability meet some folks from Utica-Rome; Paul Revere Lodge is a pleasant place to get some rest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area in close proximity to Echo Lake has to offer. Fort Stanwix National Monument is a tremendous national park, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Party Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Pixley Falls State Park; a nice place for whitewater paddling is Black River.
