Go to Echo Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. A picturesque lake like Big Cherrypatch Pond near Echo Lake is a fine location to have a look at, and you can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Whiteface Mountain. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. If you need a site to stay Lake Placid Club Lodge is a great choice, and Echo Lake is right by the Schwartz Trail. Playing golf is lots of

| | fun at Craig Wood Golf & Country Club, and Echo Lake is not far at all from Plattsburgh.
So much fun stuff right next door to Echo Lake, absolutely mind-blowing. During the summertime months at Echo Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's; night lows at Echo Lake through the wintertime frequently plunge into the 0's. Having a delightful time at Echo | |

Lake is trouble-free. A quick spree to Chubb River in the neighborhood of Echo Lake is a splendid idea, and do take a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail.
The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful.
Hopping Bear Point is close by and always perfect to explore; dry warm beds await you at Mirror Lake Inn. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. There's so much to
do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Adirondak Loj is a glorious place for that, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Indian Pass Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Really tremendous skiing
awaits you at Mount Pisgah, and you can run the rapids of Ausable River - West Branch. One of the overriding features of the surroundings of Echo Lake is Cobble Hill. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Echo Lake has
to offer, you can camp at Whispering Pines Campground. Echo Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls during August, and February is when it's the driest.
