Long Pond is a fine lake in the neighborhood of Echo Lake, and at Echo Lake you always meet someone from Binghamton. The warmest time of the year at Echo Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Echo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Bennett Hotel;       you can stay the night at Salisbury Chenango Shores Campground. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Echo Lake; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. All the outdoors amusing stuff in close proximity to Echo Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. After a long day outdoors Point Motel is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Labrador Mountain                  if you're here. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Bowman Creek, and Twin Brooks Recreation is a magnificent campground here.
