For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Eaton. Lake Eaton is not the only spot nearby, Mosquito Pond is a nearby lake; splendid hiking is available along the Sucker Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Eaton without       first going for a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail, and float down the rapids of Round Lake Outlet in a kayak. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Eaton a wet place; most of the rain falls throughout August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. A great                  nearby hotel is Woodlake Inn, and naturally South Pond Outlet is a pretty stream that is worth visiting. Lake Eaton is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a splendid time. Get soaked paddling on Raquette River; Hoss's Country Campground is a glorious campground nearby.
