Lake Eaton is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Indole Golf Course is in the neighborhood, and get soaked paddling on Black River. Don't leave Lake Eaton without first going for a hike along the Weston Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Eaton that you need to camp here for a while, North Pole Campground is a great       site for that. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Going for a hike on the Silver Lake Mountain Trail is always a splendid adventure, and paddling on Ausable River - West Branch is so much fun. At Lake Eaton you can make out Clark Mountain. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Eaton has to offer, you can camp at High Peaks Base Camp. And that's not all the things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains.                  There are perfect places to explore along the Schwartz Trail; dry warm beds await you at Cloudspin Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Jay Lodge is a pleasant choice. Lake Eaton is a good place of typical rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Lake Eaton through the warm months are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows through the winter for Lake Eaton tend to be in the 0's. So much enjoyable stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just tremendous.
