Summertime at East Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's; night lows in the 10's for East Pond. Lakes are great; South Wind Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of East Pond, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Holiday Mountain is rather near. Raleigh       Hotel is a great spot to get some rest, and the Peenpack Trail is a good hiking trail close by. If you came for an overnight stay Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is a tremendous site to camp; on a great day you can take a hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at East Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Beer Kill River - West Branch offers some nice whitewater, and if you're here                  you can take a hike along the Seager West Branch Trail. East Pond gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Camping is available at Rosemond Campground and Motel, and a great close by hotel is Chalet. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
