There's whitewater on Beer Kill River - West Branch for all you thrill seekers; The Lodge at Rock Hill is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Peenpack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Sandburg Creek; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Monticello NY. South Wind Lake is a nearby lake that you       could pop by, and East Pond is right by the Seager West Branch Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. There's so much to do here at East Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy 'G' Campground is a brilliant location for that; if you get bored of East Pond you could also visit nearby Silver Lake. East Pond is a quite wet place ordinarily with a good deal of precipitation; during May this area sees the                  most rain, and February is when it's the driest. East Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Rosemond Campground and Motel is a great local campground, and a golf course close by is Lochmor Golf Course. For the duration of the summertime here at East Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to East Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
